The Adecco Group

The Adecco Group is the parent company to a large number of recruitment subsidiaries that together, form the largest temporary staffing firm in the world. Formed in 1996, they now employ over 33,000 personnel, operating around 5,100 branches in over 60 different countries.

We were given the opportunity to work with The Adecco Group as their creative partner for their upcoming annual conference. This event would bring together over 2000 global employees for a single day event at Battersea Evolution in London. It was our task to provide all design collateral for the build up to the event and for the event itself.

We were given a theme to base our work around and had to produce a brand for it entitled “Creating Brighter Futures”. By creating a brighter future for internal and external talent, they want a sense of pride to resonate, in turn building trust and support in one another. The messaging for the conference was built upon 3 key focus points; customer, client and colleague.

For Adecco, it’s all about true collaboration as one group in order to make it easier to do business with. To be able to deliver on their promises the Adecco leadership team wanted to help drive exceptional customer experiences for their clients, candidates and colleagues. The Adecco annual conference had one aim – to instil these values in to their team universally.

A wide variety of digital and printed material was required for the event. The annual conference is the pinnacle event in Adecco’s calendar and a great deal of planning was required beforehand to ensure that all intermediate deadlines were met. With such an extensive attendee list, considerable online communication was necessary, which we carried out through CVENT, to ensure all relevant information was shared and anticipation was maintained.

One of the most significant elements of the project was the production of Powerpoint presentations for each of the subsidiary companies that form The Adecco Group. We were required to individually meet the speakers to establish a theme and message for each presentation. Once we had clarified the content required, we set to work to bring their visions to reality. With varying schedule restrictions, it was imperative that we obtained all the information we needed to allow for any possible delays in the sign off process.

Besides the pre-event communications and presentations, a large quantity of collateral was required for the event itself which included: A table plan, name badges, an awards board, wrist bands, agenda cards, menus, table name cards and signage. Whilst the client took responsibility to organise the print and fulfilment of said material, we needed to be mindful of avoid any inconsistencies in the branding. Despite some last minute changes requested and constricted deadlines, we delivered all collateral successfully to ensure the event went exactly according to plan.
